Prime Day is one of the biggest dates in the calendar for beauty fans, with the retailer now stocking a whole host of brilliant brands across skincare, body, haircare, makeup, nails and electricals. Whether you’re after a new hairdryer or want to stock up on your favourite high street mascara, this is the time to pounce. With this in mind, I’ve listed the best beauty brands to buy from Amazon year-round, but particularly during Prime Day.
How do I get access to Amazon Prime Day deals?
The process is simple, all you need to do to access Prime Day deals is sign up for a Prime Membership (if you haven’t already, you can do that here). Once you’ve signed up, simply head to Amazon.co.uk on the 11th and 12th of July, where the site will be constantly updated with new deals and some serious £££ savings.
When is Amazon Prime Day this year?
Amazon Prime Day is running across the 11th and 12th of July, so you’ll have two days of jam-packed sales to sort through, spanning everything from fashion finds to tech and beauty.
I’ve compiled a list of my favourite beauty brands to shop from Amazon along with some key buys, which have some brilliant discounts.
Maybelline
Maybelline produces some of the most beloved makeup on the high street, and our team is especially fond of the brand’s mascara offerings.
As well the mascara, I’m a big fan of Maybelline’s lip products, especially its liquid lip finds.
Babyliss
I rate Babyliss so highly for affordable alternatives to the ghds and Dysons of the world. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a boujee hair tool, but if you’re after a hairdryer or new straightener, Babyliss’ are super solid.
Prime Day is the opportune moment to make a purchase on any beauty electricals you may need.
Eylure
Eylure produces what IMO is the absolute best at-home eyebrow dye kit, and every Prime Day, I stock up like the devil himself is chasing me. I first started using this during Covid when salon brow appointments were no longer allowed, and have relied on it ever since.
The brand also offers other great must-haves such as lashes and body tape.
CeraVe
CeraVe is one of the Eliza beauty team’s absolute favourite skincare brands for a number of reasons. First, its formulas are flawless, packed full of essential ceramides to keep the skin barrier looking and feeling healthy. Then there’s the price point; everything is super affordable, with the brand proving you don’t need to drop all the £££ on fancy skincare to get great skin.
Amazon has an array of CeraVe offerings, from the eponymous cleansers to incredible moisturisers and creams for dry, sensitive skin.
Max Factor
Another drugstore mainstay in the UK, Max Factor has a rich history in makeup. Known for its exceptional mascaras and flawless bases, you can always rely on the brand for affordable yet efficacious products that you’ll re-buy over and over.
If indeed you’re planning on re-buying your favourites this year, Prime Day doesn’t disappoint.
Kerastase
Kerastase is a luxury hair brand I always turn to when I need to give my hair some TLC. And I have to say, I do believe it’s worth the money. The brand’s oil is especially glorious, with many members of the Eliza team being die-hard fans.
Prime Day is a great opportunity to score some deals with Kerastase to make the brand a little more affordable.
Elemis
Elemis skincare is the stuff of dreams, and one of those brands everybody just seems to love. With effective ingredients and chic packaging, you can’t beat the brand.
My go-tos are the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. Try them for the first time on Prime Day, or stock up if you’re an existing fan.
ghd
ghd is the OG in hair tools; I’m sure we can all remember our favourite straightener or hairdryer from the brand. If it’s time for an upgrade (I’m definitely guilty of this), use this opportunity to score a deal.
There are already a few savings on ghd but I reckon there will be PLENTY more to come.
The Inkey List
The Inkey List is one of my all-time favourite affordable skincare brands, known for its simplicity and efficacious solutions that won’t break the bank.
At Eliza, niacinamide is a mainstay ingredient, and I’m excited to it is discounted, along with some other gems.
