It’s undeniable that the cost of living is on the rise for us all. So, while we’re all undoubtedly looking for ways to save a little extra on our monthly spending right now, it’s worth checking in on what your favourite beauty retailers are doing to help.
Boots, for example, last week announced a number of new launches and schemes for shopping smarter, which are officially beauty editor approved.
The Everyday range
Already launched in-store and online, The Everyday range includes 60 products all priced at £1.50 or less.
And as it stretches across haircare, body care, feminine hygiene, and oral care, it’s definitely a great move to make shopping for those beauty essentials more accessible and affordable.
My beauty must-buy? The fruity hand washes, which are packed with fresh, zingy scents while also leaving you with soft, moisturised mitts.

Boots is also introducing two new initiatives to take helping their customers one step further.
The price lock promise
Alongside the Everyday range, Boots has also entered into a price lock promise, freezing the cost of over 1,500 of its own brand products for the rest of 2022.
That means if you find a product you love, you can rest assured it won’t have doubled in price by the time you next need a refill (Lurpak, I’m lookin’ at you).
Price advantage
Lastly, if you’ve got a Boots advantage card hidden in your purse (no matter how ancient), now is the perfect time to dig it out, as the Boots price advantage scheme is bringing you all the perks.
If you’re a Boots Advantage card customer, you can now get additional savings on over 900 products a month, with some reduced by a major 50%.
And these discounts don’t just apply to Boots’ own brand ranges either, so it’s definitely worth checking if your favourite beauty buy has a bright pink price advantage sticker on when shopping in-store or online.
Happy shopping!
