If I ever get to sit in that iconic black chair, my specialist Mastermind subject would have to be Hailey Bieber’s makeup and skincare routine.
I may be of no use when it comes to the names of rivers, dates of wars and capital cities, but give me two minutes and I guarantee I could list the entire contents of Hailey’s makeup bag and skincare cabinet.
I don’t know how it happened, but Hailey has quickly become one of my beauty icons and anytime I see her so much as looking in a compact mirror, I’m screen-shotting, zooming in and heading straight to Google to try and decipher who that packaging belongs to.
You see, yes Hailey is the epitome of beauty, but she is also the personification of effortlessness. Her makeup routine takes no more than 5 minutes, she loves a multi-purpose product for her cheeks, lips and eyes and she’s more likely to use her hands rather than expensive brushes.
Not only that, but her entire vibe is ‘your (fill in the gap) but better’. Whether it’s her glazed doughnut nail obsession, her natural, dewy highlighter or her effortlessly tousled hair.
Thankfully, I can’t keep anything to myself, and I need to clear some space in my brain for more beauty knowledge, so consider this your guide to every beauty product I have spotted Hailey using. Minus her own brand Rhode, FYI; just waiting for you to announce that UK launch Mrs Bieber….
Make Up For Ever Artist Colour Pencil in Anywhere Caffeine, £16.50
Out of all my Hailey finds, I consider this both the one I’m most proud of and also the one I love the most.
I first spotted Hailey using this when she joined TikTok and instantly recognised the wooden pencil as MUFE.
Much stalking later (and a lot of zooming in), I discovered it was the shade ‘Anywhere Caffeine’ that’s her everyday staple, so of course it’s now mine as well.
Simihaze Beauty Solar Tint Cream Blush Duo, £37
One of my most recent discoveries, Hailey used this in her ‘My makeup routine for date night’ video. SimiHaze is a new brand and by coincidence, I had just bought one of these blushers after spotting them on the Selfridges website.
I have clearly spent so much time stalking Hailey, I’ve merged my brain into hers.
Chanel Vitalumiere Foundation, £45
Straight off the bat, I need to say that if you have oily skin this is not the foundation for you, but if you’re dry or you just love a healthy-looking sheen, you will love this.
In her Vogue get ready with me video, Hailey said she loves it because it feels like it just ‘enhances’ your skin.
Of course, ever the makeup minimalist, Hailey applies just one pump (mixed with the Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid) and applies with her hands.
Kosas Revealer Concealer, £26
If you’ve ever watched Hailey do her makeup on TikTok, you will surely recognise this iconic bright yellow packaging as the concealer she’s always gently dabbing on her face.
Like all Hailey’s makeup, it leaves a super-natural finish, but she particularly loves its creamy and hydrating formula.
Weleda Skin Food, £8.25
I should have known Hailey would be a fan of this cult moisturiser, as it has holy grail status for MUAs like Katie Jane Hughes.
Admitting it’s not for everyone (I’m not gonna lie, it’s not my favourite due to the greasiness), Hailey loves to tap a small amount over her base for a natural highlight.
Westman Atelier Lit Up Highlight Stick, £44
Shock, a Hailey-approved makeup item I do not own. From iconic makeup artist Gucci Westman’s brand, Hailey uses the shade Brûlée all over her face. We’re talking cheeks, eyes and nose.
Told you she loved a multipurpose item.
Environ Moisturising Toner, £39
To quote Hailey herself, “I really, really love this toner. It keeps my skin glowy and soft and very hydrated.”
I was very impressed by this inclusion in Hailey’s night-time routine as Environ is a professional brand that only those who have a real nerdy passion for skincare are familiar with.
The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, £5.50
What’s that? Hailey uses this £5.50 product as her second cleanser? Oh, you already know we’re all adding to basket as we speak.
If your cleanser leaves you feeling stripped, do yourself a favour and incorporate this into your routine for some much-needed moisture.
Kylie Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Glow Balm, £16
You know by now that Hailey loves to use the same products on her cheeks and lips, so I wasn’t surprised when I spotted a well-loved Kylie compact in one of her TikToks.
I love friends that support one another.
While this exact shade she uses is out of stock at the moment, it’s also available in a clear shade which gives a super natural finish.
