High street fashion stores have been expertly mastering the beauty sphere for some time now. Be it Arket’s delightful Aesop hand wash dupes or & Other Stories’ gorgeous eye-wash shadows, you can find all you need during a shopping trip these days.
Never one to lag behind, H&M has just launched its latest offering: OHH!
Standing for ‘Oh Hey Hero’ the range is targeted at a Gen Z audience, with cost of living crisis-friendly prices and colourful, bold packaging to boot.
The collection is marketed as ‘a league of body care heroes coming to your rescue when you need it most’, by H&M, and is full of ‘smart, dependable, vegan formulas’. It’s practicality but in the coolest, most fun way.
I gave some of the products a go and was pleasantly surprised at what I found: in fact, it was dupes galore in there.
The best OHH! beauty products
Take a look at my quick-fire, no-BS reviews below of everything I tried, ranked from my favourite to least:
OHH! Clear Up Charlie Body Serum, £6.99
I love an exfoliating body serum, with my favourites being by Ren and Tata Harper. This is a great affordable dupe, with spot-fighting 2% salicylic acid.
This works particularly well if you experience body acne of any form, be it across the chest, back or bum. A perfect buy for me; somebody who tends to sit in my gymwear for an hour after my sweaty spin class like a damn fool.
My only qualm? I wish it were a little bigger.
OHH! Little Champ Moisturising Stick, £6.99
This is a slightly more affordable dupe of Megababe’s Thigh Rescue stick, which helps to prevent friction between skin. With summer on its way, this will likely be a handy addition to your stash if, like me, you sweat a lot and experience skin friction when wearing skirts and short shorts.
The stick is colourful, cute, and easy to apply, plus is made with nourishing shea butter and sunflower oil.
OHH! Little Mx. Magic Body Lotion, £5.99
If heavy body butters are your idea of hell, this is your antidote. It’s super lightweight, with a non-sticky gel-lotion texture and undetectable feel.
It also smells lovely and uses shea butter and jojoba oil to effectively hydrate.
I could live without this, but it’s a solid buy if you’re in the market for a cooling summer lotion this year.
OHH! The Caretaker Razor, £6.99
As far as cute, aesthetic razors go, £6.99 is a pretty decent price, making this a handy buy if you’re in the market for one and don’t have much cash to spend.
It feels weighty and stable, comes in pink as well as purple, and cuts clean.
OHH! Skin Saver Sidekick Shaving Gel, £6.99
As someone who doesn’t really feel the need for shaving gel (body wash is just as good, no?), I wouldn’t call this an essential buy.
However, if you do like to make sure you have one in your shower at all times, this smells delicious and feels super lightweight. It’s affordable, and will brighten up your shower. So win, win.
