The Ordinary pretty much reinvented the affordable beauty game when it launched its first bricks and mortar store in the UK in 2017. Since then, it’s had multiple beauty products go viral and then some, like The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, £6.30, Boots, and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, £8, Beauty Bay.
And that’s before you even get on to the classic staples such as The Ordinary Serum Foundation SPF15, £6.40, Cult Beauty.
So unsurprisingly, its newest launch has got us preeetty excited, and it seems the rest of the internet is feeling the same way.
The brand’s latest soon-to-be viral product comes in the form of its Multi-Peptide Lash And Brow Serum, £9.55, The Ordinary, a slick little tube that promises to hold the key to your best eyelashes and brows yet.
Rather than promising growth like the majority of lash serums available, The Ordinary has focused its product on increasing density and fullness, which will be music to the ears of those that already have long lashes but struggle to increase their thickness.
Now for the techy bit: the serum works by infusing the lash and brow hair with a formula containing four different peptide complexes and natural extracts. It’s designed to be used twice a day (in the morning and evening), and thanks to its light and non-sticky texture, you can apply along the brow and lash line with the thin paint brush applicator, and then be on your merry way.
Those with more sensitive eyes will also be happy to know it doesn’t contain prostaglandins; an ingredient present in other lash serums, thought to often cause irritation.
The reviews on The Ordinary’s website and across Tiktok have already started rolling in, and while lash serums normally take over a month to see results, many are already claiming this to be the fastest acting lash serum they’ve ever used, with some people even claiming to have seen thicker lashes after a week of use.
Its purse-friendly price alone will make you want to give this a try, especially when you compare it to the other leading lash serums on the market that can cost upwards of £80. And you’re getting double bang for your buck with the double duty lash-brow usage.
Eliza’s Beauty Editor Rebecca even recently compared it to the bestselling Revitalash conditioner, which is undeniably the market leader still.
Safe to say, more of the Eliza team can’t wait to get their hands on The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide Brow and Lash Serum, so stay tuned to see our honest review and results.
