When it comes to iconic beauty brands, Bobbi Brown is up there with the best of them. In fact, as a beauty obsessive from a very young age, it’s one of the brands that I remember coveting when I’d spend my Saturday afternoons browsing makeup counters and lusting after products that I couldn’t afford.
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to try a huge amount of the Bobbi Brown range and it’s easy to see why these products are universally adored — they’re just really, really good. In fact, they’re so good that Bobbi Brown was the first place I headed to when planning my bridal beauty look and I ended up using tons of its products on my wedding day. So, to say that it’s a makeup brand that I trust would be an understatement.
However, I’m also well aware that while Bobbi Brown’s products are worth every penny, they are definitely an investment that isn’t always in budget. Luckily, there are some brilliant alternatives available to help you achieve similar results at a fraction of the price.

1. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, £49
Possibly one of the most iconic Bobbi Brown products of all time, this cult moisturiser is adored by makeup artists for priming skin and creating a smooth, even base for makeup.
Makeup Revolution Super Base Vitamin Base Primer, £9.99
Boasting plenty of the same ingredients as the Bobbi Brown primer, Makeup Revolution’s dupe contains hyaluronic acid, shea butter, and vitamins B, C and E to give it that classic creamy texture and moisturising properties. And just like the Bobbi Brown version it can be used alone, as a hydrating moisturiser, or to create a fresh, dewy base for makeup.

2. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick, £27
Bobbi Brown was one of the first brands to champion the eyeshadow stick and revolutionise the way that we all do our makeup — just swipe it on and off you go. There are so many brilliant shades available, and it is truly budge-proof.
Kiko Milano Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick, £9.99
However, Kiko Milano’s eyeshadow sticks are a truly brilliant dupe. The formulas are so creamy and bely the fact that they’re under £10 a pop, and they have very similar staying power to the Bobbi Brown versions.
While the range of shades isn’t quite as extensive, there are some gorgeous shimmering hues available that look just as vibrant when applied to the eyes. Oh, and there is no risk of smudging once these dry down.

3. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation Stick, £37
This was one of the first high-end foundations that I ever bought, and I still really rate this product for natural-looking, buildable coverage and easy application. In fact, I used this alongside another foundation on my wedding day and kept it in my bag for touch-ups.
No7 Stay Perfect Stick Foundation, £14.95
I thought it would be really hard to find a dupe for the Bobbi Brown foundation stick as it has such a beautiful texture and finish. However, this No7 alternative isn’t far off. It isn’t quite as creamy (possibly down to the fact that there’s no shea butter in this formulation) but it meshes seamlessly with skin and has an expensive-looking velvety finish.
My only bugbear is that it’s only available in 18 shades whereas the Bobbi Brown foundation has 43.

4. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact, £39.50
The USP of Bobbi Brown’s instantly recognisable Shimmer Bricks is that you get five beautifully glowy powder pigments that can be worn individually or mixed together. So, yes, it’s pricey, but these compacts are definitely versatile.
Revlon Highlighting Palette, £9.99
There are tons of brilliant highlighting powders available on the high street now, but it’s rare to find ones that offer a mix of different shades in one palette. This one from Revlon is a bit of an underrated gem. It includes five beautiful hues, including a champagne, a glowy apricot and a rose pink, that will look beautiful on an array of skin tones. And while it’s less pigmented than the Bobbi Brown original, it can be layered up for a more intense sheen.

5. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Corrector, £25
If, like me, you have constantly tired eyes and perpetual dark circles then this Bobbi Brown corrector is a makeup bag essential. It’s a pink or peach-based pigment that colour corrects darkness to disguise eye bags and brighten the whole eye area.
Pixi Correction Concentrate, £14
The Pixi alternative also does a brilliant job at minimising darkness and refreshing under-eyes and is wonderfully creamy in texture — although it’s only available in two shades. If your dark circles tend towards the purpley-blue colour then opt for the ‘Brightening Peach’ shade, whereas if they’re on the brown-green end of the colour spectrum then opt for ‘Brightening Apricot.’ You’ll find that you need to use way less concealer.

6. Dupe for Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks, £27
The ultimate in on-the-go makeup products, Bobbi Brown’s best-selling lip and cheek cream is adored by so many beauty editors I know, thanks to its blendable texture and foolproof formulation that can be applied with fingertips.
Although the E.l.f. Putty Blush doesn’t claim to be multipurpose, I have used this on my lips and I can confirm that it’s a double duty product. It’s packed with Argan Oil and Vitamin E, so the formula is ultra-creamy and hydrating on both cheeks and lips, and it has that same glowy finish that I love about the Bobbi Brown version.
