Now, I can get away with this 3/4 of the year thanks to the old British weather keeping me in closed-toe shoes, but come spring and summertime, the panic sets in. Will my fellow beauty editor friends shun me come sandal season for rocking plain toes? Probably not, but I still feel a responsibility to get them back up to scratch again.

Pretty in pink
Let’s be real: you can’t beat a classic French pedi. Need more convincing? Our beauty contributor has written an entire ode to the design.
Can’t pick one bright hue? No prob, pick five!

Take this pic to the salon for the ultimate multicoloured pedicure.
It’s giving: your favourite colour is black but it’s still summer, after all…
Animal print never goes out of style, especially in this chic monochrome design.
Bright greens and yellows are officially in this year; don’t be afraid to wear them on your toes as well as your fingers.
The only thing that makes this pedi choice even cuter? That smiley toe ring, ofc.
