Hi, I’m Krissy and I’m a Zara sale-shopping pro. It wasn’t always this way, though: after years of being too slow off the mark and having to sadly clear my basket of all the freshly sold-out items I had my eye on, I decided to perfect my shopping technique. Surely there was a way to get ahead of the masses when the highly anticipated Zara sale hits?
I’m pleased to say I finally have my tactics down to a fine art, and I’m happy to share my findings with fellow fashion lovers.
When does the Zara summer sale 2023 start?
The sale starts tonight at 9pm on the Zara app, at 10pm on Zara.com and in all stores tomorrow morning.
If you’re heading in-store today, note that the layout will have changed to include all sale items at the front of the store. Whereas these would have been arranged in order of newness and trends just last week, it’s all changed for sale preparation. Suss out what you want today – my guide should help – so you can head straight for those pieces when the store opens tomorrow.
For the keen e-shoppers, download the app now for Apple or for Android, and then follow my four steps to guarantee sales success tonight. Thank me later.
The best Zara summer 2023 sale shopping hacks
Here are my hacks for getting exactly what you want in the Zara summer sale…
1. Check what’s actually going on sale
In past seasons we’d have to waste an age adding things to our e-baskets then waiting for the sale to hit before finding out if they were discounted. Ever-helpful Zara has won me over with a new feature that shows you exactly what your basket will look like and how much everything will cost once the sale begins, so you can add and delete as necessary.
2. Fill your basket…
Add all of your favourite pieces to your basket as you normally would. Then click ‘see your discounted basket’ to see what’s on sale and for how much.
I’d recommend removing anything not going on sale – we can buy those pieces another time, today is sale day, people!

3. Then save it all to your wish list
Sounds silly, right? But bear with me. At around 8.30pm tonight, the Zara app and website will go down for around an hour to prepare for the sale, and while it does, you won’t be able to access it.
Well before then (I’m talking by 6pm to be safe), make sure you save everything from your basket to your wish list. While the app and site are down, your basket will be cleared, and all of your hard work will go to waste otherwise.
4. Set an alarm for tonight at 8.55pm
That way, since you already know what you want, you can be ready to purchase when the app and site are back up. Head straight for your wish list and add it all back to your basket ready to buy.
I always buy the pieces from my wishlist instantly so that I know they’re secured, then I’ll head back to the app to browse, all without the underlying panic that my favourite pieces will go out of stock. Do let me know what you bought!
