Before I start, I want to make one thing clear: I *love* Charlotte Tilbury makeup. In fact, when recently discussing which makeup brand I would use for the rest of my life if I could only pick one, I chose CT. It’s just a great all-rounder, with brilliant bases, dreamy highlighters, a solid mascara, and of course, all things Pillow Talk. Case in point, my love letter to its’ Hollywood Flawless Filter, which I can’t be without.
But these days for most of us, Charlotte Tilbury products are reserved more for a special splurge rather than a fortnightly treat. The cost of living crisis has got us all in a chokehold, and as much as we’d love to pop out and drop a hundred quid on our fave bits, it’s just not always possible.
So I set myself a mission to find the very best dupe items for those in-between times. And the truth is, there’s plenty out there to get excited about – and all with a more appealing price point. Oh, and a few are even in the Amazon Prime Day 2023 sale.

The 12 best Charlotte Tilbury dupes
From a £10 Pillow Talk dupe to a £4.99 cream shadow that rivals the brand’s beloved Eyes To Mesmerise pots, I’ve discovered the best of the best.
1. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream: Revolution Miracle Cream
Charlotte’s first skincare product is universally adored. My mum is perhaps the bestseller’s number one fan, and the fact the makeup artist used to use this on models backstage to prime their skin speaks volumes about its efficacy and finish. It’s £79 however, making it a real investment buy that you may only be able to make once or twice a year, if at all.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, £79
The good news is there are a ton of excellent moisturisers on the market these days, many of which feature top-notch ingredients but for less cash.
Revolution Pro Miracle Cream, £6.64 in the Amazon Prime Day sale
Saving: £72.36
Star rating: 3.5/5 ⭐
Best for: Hydrating, plumping
Key ingredients: Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, shea butter
The latest of these is Revolution’s sell-out Miracle Cream, which has a rich, decadent texture, pretty packaging, and an ingredients list with the likes of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, peptides and vitamin C on it. Oh, and it’s a mere £10.
My only qualm with this is that it is quite heavily fragranced, but if you don’t mind scent in your skincare (after all, Tilbury’s classic has a distinct smell), you probably won’t mind at all.
2. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation: Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-In-1 Glow
The Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation is a favourite among no makeup makeup fans, who want a little coverage but with an ultra-lightweight feel. It’s a gorgeous formula, but for many, may seem a little pricey at £39.
Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation, £39
For those who want something similar but for a little less, one of my newest high street foundation favourites provides a similar level of coverage, and an excellent level of glow I don’t think can be beaten for that price.
Maybelline Instant Anti Age Perfector 4-In-1 Glow, £10.39 in the Amazon Prime Day sale
Saving: £28.61
Star rating: 4/5 ⭐
Shade range: 7
Finish: Luminous, sheer
Key ingredients: Glycerin
While Maybelline’s currently only has 7 shades compared to CT’s 12, these are more adaptable in terms of skin tone range (compared to higher coverage foundations) due to the sheer finish and flexible formula.
3. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer: Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer
If you love a concealer with a fluffy sponge atop, you’ll likely be a big fan of the CT Magic Away Concealer, which is a great accompaniment to the brand’s Airbrush Flawless Foundation.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer, £26
Not got the cash for that one right now? Give Maybelline’s a go, which specialises in reducing under-eye circles.
Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer, £5.99 in the Amazon Prime Day sale
Saving: £20.01
Star rating: 4/5 ⭐
Shade range: 16
Finish: Semi-matte
Key ingredients: Goji berry extract
It flawlessly blends and is super easy to apply with a built-in blending sponge, making it a nifty little concealer for on-the-go application and touch ups.
4. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter: e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter and Collection Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish
If I was hard pushed to choose just one product from the whole brand I couldn’t live without, I’d reach for Charlotte’s Hollywood Flawless Filter, every.damn.time. I use mine after primer and before my tinted moisturiser, to act as that little added extra in-between for increased radiance and coverage.
Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, £39
It was Hannah from my team who first made me aware of the e.l.f Halo Glow Liquid Filter, which at just £14, will save you an impressive £25. The affordable buy has a formula and finish that is almost identical to the CT original, offering a luminous tint to skin.
e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter, £14
Saving: £25
Star rating: 5/5⭐
Shade range: 8
Finish: Luminous, sheer
Key ingredients: Squalane, hyaluronic acid
The product can feel a little harder to blend out but with a damp sponge, you shouldn’t have any problems. Another downside is the shade range as there are eight compared to Tilbury’s twelve, so you may be better suited to the CT option if e.l.f does not have one for your skin tone.
If you do have a shade that will work for you, it’s definitely worth giving this a go next time you need a top-up.
Or, for an even bigger saving, try Collection’s Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish. The shade range unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired, with only four options available, but at just £7.99 it’s definitely a more budget-friendly alternative to Flawless Filter.
Collection Gorgeous Glow Filter Finish, £7.99
Saving: £31.01
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Shade range: 4
Finish: Luminous, sheer
Key ingredients: Vitamin E, glycerine
5. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand: Revolution Pro Goddess Glow Cream Contour & Bronze
Charlotte Tilbury’s Contour Wand is a cult product for good reason: it’s lightweight and blends into the skin seamlessly, leaving you with a sculpted, natural look that could have been chiselled by the Ancient Romans. Unsurprisingly, it’s almost always sold out. Enter, a worthy dupe that is a little easier to get your hands on and will save you quite a few pounds.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand, £30
Revolution Beauty has become a go-to for some remarkable high-end beauty dupes, and this affordable alternative to CT has to be one of its best. Enter Revolution’s Goddess Glow Cream Contour & Bronze that possesses an almost identical formula and finish to CT’s contour wand.
Revolution Pro Goddess Glow Cream Contour & Bronze, £7.99
Saving: £22.01
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Shade range: 3
Finish: Natural matte
Key ingredients: Hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, shea butter
It comes with a built-in applicator sponge (check), liquid formula (check) and buildable, natural-looking coverage (check). It dries down to a soft matte finish, but be warned it sets pretty quickly, so you’ll want to start blending as soon as you apply it. At £6, it’s a dupe you can’t miss out on trying.
6. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Eyeshadow
Tilbury’s stunning eyeshadow pots are definitely worth the investment. They’re whipped and creamy in texture, and come in the most stunning shades around. But at £26, you’ll usually find you can only grab one rather than several at a time.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise, £26
The good news is there’s a £4.99 dupe for this beauty, which means in theory you could pick up five of these for the price of one of Tilbury’s. Score.
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadow, £4.99
Saving: £21.01
Star rating: 4/5 ⭐
Shade range: 6
Finish: Pearlescent, shimmer
Maybelline’s Color Tattoo 24Hr Cream Eyeshadow has the same incredible level of pigmentation, with a creamy feel and some gorgeous shades to boot. Love ‘Amber Gold’ (previously ‘Bette’) or ‘Oyster Pearl?’ (previously Marie Antoinette)? Try Maybelline’s ‘Socialite.’ Can’t get enough of the ‘Rose Gold’ colour at CT? ‘Pink Gold’ (below) is an almost-perfect match.
There are 6 hues to choose from with the Maybelline product, and all of the ones available are simply gorgeous. Stock up.
7. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray: Nyx Plump Finish Setting Spray
I always have to have a makeup setting spray in my stash; I sort of feel unfinished unless I have a last spritz to seal everything in place. That said, one of my favourites from recently has been this one by CT, which I feel really does improve the finish of makeup and expand its longevity.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, £28
But deep down, setting spray is one of those things I don’t believe you really have to spend a lot on, and I’ve tried plenty of cheaper ones that stand up to their pricey counterparts.
NYX Plumping Setting Spray, £8
Saving: £20
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Best for: Hydrating, refreshing
Key ingredients: Niacinamide, aloe, magnesium
Case in point: the NYX Plumping Setting Spray, which I find to be just as good. And if you don’t like the sound of being ‘plumped,’ the brand has a whole range of other options, including dewy sprays, matte sprays and the like – all for under a tenner.
8. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Bronzer: e.l.f. Putty Bronzer
My newest Tilbury obsession is this huge cream bronzer, which adds a gorgeous glow and can be used with a fluffy brush for all-over colour, or a finer tapered one for a targeted contour.
When I heard its price however (£44), my eye went into nervous twitch mode.
Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Bronzer, £44
Luckily, talk online led me to another great e.l.f buy: the Putty Bronzer, which has a similar texture and will only set you back SIX POUNDS.
e.l.f Putty Bronzer, £6
Saving: £38
Star rating: 2.5/5 ⭐
Shade range: 8
Finish: Semi-matte
Now, is the size a hell of a lot smaller than CT’s? Sure. Is it much better suited to contouring than all-over glow because of its chosen shades? Definitely. But um, it’s £6. So it’s absolutely worth a try if you’re in the market for a cheaper alternative.
9. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk: L’Oreal 171 Lipstick & Maybelline 56 Liner
Now for the crème de la crème of Charlotte’s offerings: the OG Pillow Talk lipstick. A beautiful neutral pink comfort matte lipstick, this seems to suit everyone, and is loved by all who touch it.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk, £27
For the reasons aforementioned, I would always advocate for the original here; if you love it and have the £27 to splash, bloody well go for it.
But if you’re after something ultra-similar and more affordable, you’ll want to get your hands on this buy from L’Oreal Paris.
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Les Nus Satin Lip in 171 Confident, £8.99
Saving: £18.01
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Shade range: 11
Finish: Satin
Key ingredients: Vitamin E, argan oil
The shade is a very close match, perhaps with a touch more pink than brown in, however. It also boasts a shiny finish rather than a matte one, but combined with this Maybelline liner (which is matte and more brown), you’ve basically got a match made in heaven.
Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Liner in 56 Almond Rose, £3.99
Saving: £23.01
Star rating: 4/5 ⭐
Shade range: 13
Finish: Satin, creamy
And even when you buy these two together, you’ll still be saving £14 instead of reaching for the more expensive version. Score.
10. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Pillow Talk’: Revlon ColorStay Day to Night Eyeshadow Quad in Stylish
One of the most instantly recognisable eyeshadow palettes out there, Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk quad gives a gorgeous neutral smokey eye with a sophisticated hit of shimmer and subtle pink.
Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Pillow Talk,’ £45
The original palette is definitely worth the investment if you’re looking for a dynamic quad that can transport you from day to night without taking up too much space in your makeup bag. However, Revlon has come up with a pretty impressive dupe with its Day To Night Eyeshadow Quad in ‘Stylish.’
Revlon ColorStay Day to Night Eyeshadow Quad in Stylish, £9.99
Saving: £35.01
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Finish: Matte, shimmer
These shadows blend almost as seamlessly as CT’s and the matte shades are very close, although they do show up slightly warmer than Pillow Talk on the skin.
11. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand: e.l.f Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wand, £10
Charlotte Tilbury’s Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand’s are a stalwart Tiktok sensation due to their beautiful glow-giving formulations. The finishes are a hybrid liquid blush-highlighter, which give a luminous, pearly sheen to the skin, without the unwanted flashback that some highlighters can cause.
Charlotte Tilbury Glowgasm Beauty Light Wand, £30
But when it comes to viral Tiktok makeup, e.l.f are consistently delivering on some healthy competition, and the brand’s Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wands have not only sold out multiple times since launch, but have been dubbed a worthy dupe for CT’s Beauty Light Wands.
e.l.f Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wand, £9
Saving: £21
Star rating: 4/5 ⭐
Shade range: 4
Finish: Luminous, molten shimmer
Key ingredients: Squalane
No prizes for noticing the immediate similarities in the name, however the comparisons go further still: the e.l.f blush wands feature a sponge tip applicator, as does CT’s. The formula and finish of the two are also incredibly similar; e.l.f has managed to capture that shimmering highlight and blusher combo which blends blissfully into the skin with a buildable colour.
The shades are similar but not exact, though I think the formulation and finish makes this a fantastic dupe. e.l.f’s Rosé You Slay, £9, e.l.f, is probably the closest to CT’s Pinkgasm, although you could mix it with ‘Candlelit’ for an even better match.
12. Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Lip Blur: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, £7
Hot off the press is Charlotte Tilbury’s newest lip product, Lip Blur. A soft matte liquid lipstick with a twist, Lip Blur has been formulated with hyaluronic acid to give a smooth, plumped effect to the lips. It’s also been designed so that you can wear it full impact or soft and blotted, depending on your vibe.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Blur, £27
When trying on the new Lip Blur, I was immediately reminded of an OG high street lip favourite – NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream. The texture and feel of these two lip products is almost identical, with a whipped formula and wearable matte finish.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, £7
Saving: £20
Star rating: 3/5 ⭐
Shade range: 34
Finish: Soft matte
While CT’s Lip Blur does have longer staying power than NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream, the shade range features some pretty impressive close matches, with 34 in total. If you love the shade ‘Pillow Talk’ from CT, try ‘Stockholm’ for a similar nude-pink finish.
